Bridesmaid's dress
Child's bridesmaid's dress. Worn by in Penarth, 1942. Full length dress in cream satin. Fitted bodice with machine lace collar and short puff sleeves, trimmed with matching lace. Four button front fastening (self fabric covered buttons). Smocked gathering at waist. Plain skirt, seams machine stitched, handmade button holes and hand stitched hem. Originally worn with a small lace cap.
