Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, oval, with a waved and folded rim comprising six small and six large lobes, narrow foot rim; the centre painted with an arrangement of flowers and fruit including three pink roses, cistus, cornflowers, buttercups, two peaches, an apple, grapes, white currants, and pineapple; apple-green ground rim with plain gilt outer border and waved inner border, reserved with a polychrome spray of flowers in foliate cartouches between floral sprays in raised gilding. Small firing flaw below green border concealed by a floral tendril.
