Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
The Caerleon medal was commissioned by the National Museum Wales to commemorate the opening of the new Roman Legionary Museum at Caerleon. 350 silver and 1300 copper medals were produced. Of the latter, 900 were distributed free to local school children and about 250 were struck at Caerleon on 13 June 1987 at the Isca festival.
