Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
LINEN, unbleached, embroidered with coloured silks in cross stitch. Divided into three horizontal compartments by narrow ornamental stripes. The first compartment contains Gothic letters of the alphabet commencing with a cross. In the second, in two rows commencing with a cross, are Roman capital letters of the alphabet and the date 1815; the third contains a monstrance between two candlesticks with candles, the Sacred Trigram I H S, crowned monograms, plants, pelicans and other birds, mostly symmetrically arranged in pairs, and the inscription: "fpmt de zutter au pfar". There is a varied border of straight and zig-zag stripes.
