Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Pink Out & Wild 'Visitor’ wristband. Out & Wild is a festival for LGBTQ+ women and those who are non-binary. This band is from their initial event in 2022. It was held in Lawrenny from 2022-24, but will be moving to Devon from 2025.
Wristband made from a woven ribbon of white synthetic fibre, outside is printed with the words 'VISITOR' on pink background flanked on either side with 5x the 'Out & Wild' festival logo. The fastening consists of a black plastic ring of oval diameter. The inside of the ring appears to be shaped in such a way that the ribbon can only slide through in one direction, i.e. to tighten the wrist band (but not to loosen it). The ends of the wristband appear to be prevented from fraying by melting them. The width of the ribbon is 1.5cm and the width of the plastic ring is 1cm.
