Crazy patchwork bedcover made in the 1880s by Annie Griffiths of Tal-y-Sarn, Caernarfonshire (b. 1824).
Made from velvet and cords arranged in diamonds, mainly of blue and black, within 30cm squares of various shades of red. Shaded red and yellow wool embroidery in feather stitch. Lining of red cotton damask.
