Jug, earthenware, standing on a spreading rounded foot-rim, bulbous body with cylindrical neck, raised beak spout, high loop handle with raised thumb-spur and acanthus leaf moulding, the lower terminal moulded; transfer-printed in blue with to the body the 'Women with baskets' pattern, two female figures carry baskets in the foreground, while besides them a male figure dips his foot into a pond, in the background is a rural landscape with trees, a mill and a church in the distance, border to the interior and exteror lip-rim and spout of flower heads and foliage against a blue ground, diaper border to the handle.
