Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A squared pillar stone, with a Latin inscription and an incised cross form on the top, which may be later than the inscription. Described as a small 'Maltese' cross (Nash-Williams). There are some modern graffiti and an O.S bench mark was cut into it before its removal from the original site.
Site Name: Margam Mountain, Margam
Notes: Original monument was formerly located (found) standing on a low mound (part of a Bronze Age ring cairn) near a track crossing Margam Mountain, where it was known as 'Carreg Kythrogg'. There is a replica of the original standing at the original site, but the original monument itself is now located in the Margam Abbey Museum.
