Patchwork cot quilt made by Mrs Susan James of Tirpysg, Carmarthen, in about 1914-15.
Plain white cotton back, and red and white front. The centre is patchwork of triangles with white border and red panels at edge with squares in corners. Quilting pattern of four linked leaves in centre, surrounded by a chain within circles, in turn within square with leaf in each corner, the spaces filled with spirals. Deep border of leaves, the spaces filled with curved lines of quilting, edged with chain (as in centre).
