Banner with an image of Nelson Mandela, made and designed by Anthony Evans for the Wales Anti-Apartheid Movement (WAAM), mid-1980s. The banner was made with household paints applied onto an unprimed canvas. It is covered with the signatures of protesters and supporters of WAAM. According to Evans, it was made with the intention to be signed as 'an autographed book'. The signatures were acquired from the protests of the 1980s, and from the memorial service of Hanef Bhamjee (founder-member and Secretary of WAAM) held in June 2022.
