Roman copper alloy Light Polden brooch
Copper alloy Light Polden type brooch with large spring of nineteen coils concealed by side wings each decorated with four longituninal hatched stripes. It is closely paralleled by brooches 6 and 7 from Whitton (Jarret and Wrathmell 1981, p166-168, fig.68). This form of brooch is found almost exclusively in South Wales and is thought to date to the late 1st century AD.
