Black and white postcard of railings and gates at Chirk Castle, Denbighshire - By Robert Davies (1715-1721). These gates were repaired for the government by Messrs D.J. Williams & Son of Brunswick Iron Works, Caernarvon. They remade everything that had rotted. The value of the gates if they were made today would be at least £30,000.
