A stretcher which was used at Rhiwlas Village Hall during the 1930s-1940s, as a teaching aid during first aid lessons. It is believed that the stretcher was acquired from Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda. This stretcher is a typical example of the way quarrymen used the skills that they acquired at the quarry (in this case first aid skills) to educate other members of the surrounding communities.
