Wheel made Greek lamp from the 4th to 5th Century BC, clay is of Red/Orange colour with a metallic black glaze on the interior and exterior save the case which is clear of glaze. Deep circular body with slightly rounded sides and a projecting nozzle, which joins the shoulder of the body at an angle. The nozzle is flat-topped with a large filling hole surrounded by a sunken groove. The rim of the filling hole is slightly raised. Circular base which is concave underneath. Fingerprint remains in glaze at rear of base.
