Coffee pot and cover, cream-coloured earthenware, with a blue and slightly crazed pearl-glaze, thinning to a pitted 'pigskin' in places; wheel-thrown pear-shaped body, lathe marks and incised ring to the base, spreading moulded foot, tall S-scroll spout and loop handle, high domed cover with cone-shaped knop and deep locating ring; painted in high temperature under-glaze colours on each side with a conventional floral spray of narrow petalled flowers in orange, green, brown and blue, and with detached leaf sprigs on either side of the spout and handle; round the neck and cover a border of yellow panels with brown leaf ornament alternating with orange and green sprigs in triangular formation, lunette edge below, brown bands to the base, edge of spout and cover, brown chevron pattern down spout and handle.
