White muslin frock. Round neck trimmed with lace. Elbow length sleeves decorated with central panels of whitework embroidery in floral motif. Bodice has similar panel at the centre with 2 panels of 5 tucks on either side. Flared skirt elaborately decorated with rucks, panels of lace and whitework embroidery. Scalloped hemline. Back fastened by 6 pearl buttons. Probably worn by donor's mother as a child.
