A harness fitting or mount of unkown purpose. The object has a flat plate with a curving end leading to a straight edge and diamond shaped end. Attached to the diamond end is a round bar at a 90 degree angle to the plate. The curving edge is broken but looks as though it would continued round to make a corresponding diamond plate to which the opposite end of the bar would attach.
The fitting's thickness means it is unlikely to be a belt fitting. It could be a sturdy harness fitting.
