Pennant commemorating the 14th anniversary of the 1979 revolution in Nicaragua. Printed with inscription: 'Nicaragua 25 MARZO 1993/ 15 / ATC / ASOCIACION DE TRABAJADORES DEL CAMPO / Aniversario / ATC'.
Triangular pennant, undyed tabby woven cotton printed in green, black and red. The fabric appears to be stiffened with starch (?), raw edges. Single turn back along top edge stitched in green thread. Wire inserted through resulting channel with ends curved to form an eye. A white cotton braid (for hanging) has been threaded through the eyes on either side and is held in place with knots. 'Nicaragua 25 MARZO 1993' [in black. Large number '15' [in green]. 'ATC' letters shaped to fit into a circle [in red]. Superimposed on this is, in black: a wide-brimmed hat, a raised fist holding a machete and the outline of Nicaragua.
