Virtually complete skeleton represented by most bones except the left arm. Adult female aged 40-45 years based on dental attrition and auricular surface. Isotope analysis consistent with Welsh origin.
Site Name: Brownslade Burrows, Pembrokeshire
Notes: From land adjacent to Brownslade Barrow Cist grave conataining elements of three individuals althoug the fragmentary remains of a juvenile and a neonate are probably either disturbed or intrusive. The wall fo the souther side of the cist has survived intact but the western part is heavily damaged by badgers. Orientated E-W with head to the west and feet crossed. Original position of arms lost due to cist collapse.
