Figure of a mounted man facing right and attacking a leopard, white earthenware with a blue tinted crackle glaze, on an irregularly shaped rectangular base, with a gilt line round. Man wearing black ankle boots, white trousers, white jacket with gilt buttons down, long grey cloak, brown hair, white hat with pink and green plumes, seated astride a rearing horse, holding a gilt tipped black spear with both hands and pointing it towards the head of a leopard. Horse brown/orange, white saddle, rust harness; upper part leopard emerging from the undergrowth toward's horse's belly, dirty yellow colour, black spots, white chest, black whiskers, red muzzle. Green brown base, high on right supporting front hooves of horse, three clumps extruded grass.
