Post-Medieval tin alloy strap fitting

Strap fitting or guide.

The object comprises a hollow nad concave circular disc decorated with a rosette pattern in relief. There are two expanded lugs set on opposite edges of the disc. One is at a 45 degree angle with the upper disc surface and is pierced with a small circular hole set in a square recess. The opposing lug is simialrly pierced but the surface around the piercing has worn away, leaving a hole.
