Cup, hard-paste porcelain, circular, ribbed sides and scalloped edge, grooved loop handle, footring; the handle is painted with gold lines and terminates in moulded leaves painted gold, the edge is gilded, the interior rim is decorated with a waved gold band and painted with gold dots within gold circles held between gold bands, the footring is decorated with a gold band, the exterior rim is decorated with a triple border in brown and gold of a cell and dot pattern and a diaper pattern, below the triple border is painted a gold line border from which hangs swags of leaves, the front of the cup is painted with a brown flower spray framed by gold borders and a brown border overpainted with gold dots and squares.
