Handwritten note in blue ink, dated 30 November 1949, by Lewis W. Dixon explaining that the 'print' of Trevithick's Locomotive was a tracing from an old blue print lent to Dixon forty years ago by an eighty year old man who used to be employed at the Cyfarthfa Works.
Letter has been numbered '2' by C.T. Allan who sent a typewritten note to accompany the papers, see related material file.
