Badly damaged by an air attack at Falmouth in July 1940, she was out of commission for 10 months while undergoing repair at Plymouth. 1952 - Sold to Cia Maritima Wanmas SA, Panama, and renamed WANMAS (managed by Fanmaur Shipping & Trading Co.). 1954 - Sold to Compania Linea Roja Ltda, Liberia, and renamed FILTRIC (managed by A.Romano). 1954 - Later that year, sold to Vivalet Shipping & Trading Co., SA, Liberia, and renamed VIVA. 1955 - Sold to Tankers & Freighters (Israel) Ltd., of Haifa, and renamed GAATON. She arrived at La Spezia, Italy, in February 1961 for breaking up.
