Built 1969 by Ateliers de la Loire, St. Nazaire, as ALAIN L.D., for Louis Dreyfus & Cie., and fitted with two Kampnagel travelling cranes. 1973 – Transferred to the newly formed “Gearbulk” Group, managed by Buries, Markes Ltd, London (both subsidiaries of Louis Dreyfus), and renamed LA CORDILLERA. 1974 – Sold to Gestioni Esercizio Navi Sicilia, Italy, and renamed CAPO MELE.
