Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Folding balance with central bar, pointer and two pivoting balance arms. Two trapezoidal plates form the central bar, between which sits a flat, elongated triangular pointer. The plates and pointer are held in place with flat rivets. At each end of the central bar is an arm, held in place with a rivet perforatiing the plates. At the distal end, each arm is circular in cross-section, tapering to the terminal end. At the terminal end Ithe arm has moulded decoration and terminates into a flat, rectangular plate. Each plate is pierced with asmall ring passing through the perforation.
