Thin butted; slightly flattened oval in section. Ground and polished, but not sufficiently so as to remove entirely the hollows left by the rough hewing. Slightly damaged in modern times.
Site Name: Llangrwyne, Llangenni
Notes: Found near the Upper Paper MIll on the Grwyney River during alterations to the mill. Obtained by Rev. Augustus Brown, Vicar of Cathedyne, Bwlch, Breconshire, shortly after they were found in August of above year. Purchased by Mr J. S. Wilde at a sale of the goods of the late Rev. Brown, who died in November 1917. The exact date of the purchase is not known.
