Wand used by Mhara Starling. Collected as part of the Ours to Tell project 2023/2024.

Wooden stick with bark mostly removed apart from a c. 10cm wide section c. 8.5cm up from the base of the wand. A clear crystal (?) with 6 facets of different width has been attached to the tip of the wand and is held in place with a white substance. This seems to have been malleable but is now hardened. It is marked with a pattern of grooves. 3 runes (?), one of them a 5-pointed star, have been burned into the wood near the tip. There are white accretions along the base of the wand.
