Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Wedding dress worn by Elizabeth Jane Kelly of Abersychan, Monmouthshire, on her marriage to Thomas Jones (1820-1876), Taliesin o Eifion, on 26 December 1855. Taliesin o Eifion won the 'black chair' at the Wrexham National Eisteddfod in 1876. The dress is made from blue and brown shot silk, trimmed with braid. Bodice is tucked and pleated.
