Hercules with club and lion skin; on the king’s left hand, moving outwards, 1. Britannia with spear, palm branch and shield: The Union arms, the combined crosses of St Andrew and St George; 2. Piety or Religion, veiled and holding the model of a church; then, wedged in what remains of the field, a lion’s head. Segmented border.
