Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a landscape with a seated female figure clad in flowing green draperies and holding an anchor, the landscape enclosed by a circular gilt border with gilt foliate sprays around it, around the upper sides of the saucer a border of gilt sprigs and a waving gilt line between two gilt bands, a gilt edge to the rim.
