I have a bible that was passed down to me from my grandmother which all bereaved families were given after the disaster. My great great grandfather was one of those who lost their lives on that fateful day 130 years ago. Don't know which 1 of 6 Thomas's he was though?

Just found a link to this disaster my cousins James and Samuel Francis BRIGHT are my 1st cousins 3xremoved, they were 14 and 12 years of age.
Nearly all my welsh ancestors worked in the mines, and one of my aunts Vera Rawle nee Evesham was a nurse at one of the pits but I can not remember which.
