This stamp was used on plain ware, on moulds for decorated ware and, occasionally, on the rims of decorated bowls (in one instance, with the same stamp impressed in the mould). The site record includes Benwell (twice), the Brougham cemetery, Halton Chesters (twice) and South Shields.
