Uniform of the 1st Glamorgan Rifle Volunteers (shako, tunic and trousers). Worn by Ensign William Llewellyn of Court [Cwrt] Colman, Bridgend. His commissions included: Ensign (12 October 1859); Lieutenant (23 February 1860); Captain (20 March 1861); Major (18 August 1875). He resigned with permission to retain rank and wear uniform on 28 August 1880.
