Mr Albert Edwin Pardy, who wrote a thesis on "Colliery Power cables" while at University College, Cardiff. On leaving college (c.1941), he secured the post of Night Under Manager at Ferndale No.6 Pit in the Rhondda. See accession number 2010.56 for Thesis by Mr Pardy.
