Jug, of pale creamy earthenware, standing on a pronounced rounded foot rim, the body globular with a broad incised band around the centre, broad ribbed neck ending in a slightly flared lip rim, strapo handle; the lower body, below the incised band, unglazed, mottled green glazing to upper body, handle and neck, with distinct variegation between shades of green with one patch golden yellow in colour; incised mark to neck, slightly indistinct but giving the impression of a circle or possibly a letter 'C'.
