Bull's Head
Ackroyd and Harvey often use grass in their work to explore issues of transformation. The natural forces of growth and decay competing with human acts of control and interference on the natural world are a recurring theme in their work. In Bull’s Head the grass, quite literally, gives life to the image. It acts as a mirror that reflects back to us, reminding us of what lies beyond the concrete and steel structures of city life.
