Long, narrow silver sheath with small silver hoops on the edge, possibly for attachment purposes. For police cutlass. Silver has unclear hallmark. Unclear where or when used, though cutlasses were issued to police officers during the nineteenth century. However, the crown insignia and silver on these items suggests they were ceremonial. Formerly part of Gwent Police Museum collection
