Figure
Taper holder in the form of a figure of Cupid, earthenware, Cupid seated on a tree stump rising up from a round moulded base, the figure with crossed legs, one arm bent with the elbow resting on a branch issuing from the tree stump and the hand supporting the head, the other hand holds what may be a book, half of which has broken off, to one side of the figure a tall branch rises from the tree stump, in the top of this branch a brass taper holder is inserted, the round base set upon a low square plinth; covered all over with a brown glaze which has then been covered in silver lustre. The plinth chipped.
