Loving cup, hard-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided pedestal foot with an everted lip at the top, rounded bowl with two handles formed by cornucopiae bursting with biscuit porcelain fruit and a seated Cupid; fine biscuit reeding applied to the foot and one row of glazed beading, everted lip with biscuit feathered moulding, and radiating leaf moulding to the base of the bowl; applied biscuit scrollwork with rosettes, between small circular and octagonal panels, to the bowl; painted with a frieze of pink roses around the lower part of the bowl and a rose spray inside, growing roses painted in the two octagonal panels, and forget-me-nots in the four circular panels; gilt band to the foot rim, and around the panels, gilt ivy around the stem of the foot, gilt detail to the cornucopia handles, and gilt dentilled lip.
