Seal impression: York
God the Father with three-rayed nimbus, His hands raised in blessing, seated and supporting His crucified Son. Above His left shoulder, an estoile of six points (less possibly, the Holy Spirit descending as a dove). All set upon the waters of the rocky channel of the river Ouse with, to either side, a one-masted ship in full sail. In field, to either side, a symbolic tree.
