Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Communion cup and paten cover, silver, the cup having a trumpet-shaped foot with an applied flat wire forming the rim, a bell-shaped bowl with slightly everted rim, the plain paten cover domed with a button foot and applied flange; the side of the bowl inscribed, '.WG. Minester / .RL. / .R*L. Churchwardens / 1683', two concentric circles engraved around the rim of the cover. Signs of extensive damage and repair: the stem resoldered to the bowl, the base of the bowl split and repaired, striation marks round the base of the bowl and the paten cover (cause uncertain), a tear in the flat rim of the paten cover (former repair).
