Cup, two-handled, soft paste porcelain, standing on a slim pedestal with circular foot, the body of an open cup form with plain rim, two handles that are angular in profile, extending from beneath the rim to the top of the pedestal; powdered blue ground colour to the main body of the cup and foot, with a panel in reserve painted in polychrome enamels with Raglan Castle in a picturesque/bucolic landscape bordered in gilt, the edge of the rim left in reserve and with a plain band of gilt, two bands of gil at the top of the pedestal stem with a row of linked circles and radiating dots between, the handles with a gilt pattern of stylised flower heads and dots, plain band of gilt at outer edge of foot, the vertical edge of the foot painted with black enamels in imitation of marble.
