Plate, buff coloured earthenware, circular shape, standing on a straight-sided tapering foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim; covered all over with a blue tinged white tin-glaze, the upperside of the plate painted in green, blue and brown with to the centre of the well two Chinese style landscape scenes, one above the other, showing stylized buildings on expanses of ground with stylized flowers and foliage besides them, the two scenes enclosed by a circular border of scrolling lines, the rim decorated with triangular motifs in-filled with vertical banding interspersed with stylized sprays of foliage.
