One of a pair (with F84.164.2) of elaborately carved armchairs; backs are carved with Chinese dragon in tracery, flanked by exotic plants and fruit; cresting rails have 2 dragons face to face, intertwined with foliage; back posts have similar carvings of dragons, as do the arms; 2 front legs terminate in claw feet; plain seats, set into frame; panels below seats are carved with bird and foliage motifs.
