Jug with inner filter, of unglazed buff earthenware, standing on a waisted foot rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, slightly tapered, resembling a mug or coffee can with incised border of banding below lip rim; simple vertical loop handle joined to the main body at the shoulder and below the lip rim; the interior base of the neck with a flat plane (undetachable) with triangular perforations, forming a filter and central elongated finial with four lobed knop; the upper exterior body stamped with embossed motifs, five pointed stars within circular motifs of dots and circles and with discs containing masks of heads with head-dresses, again surrounded by radiating dots and stylised petals, with a band of rounded triangular thumb or knuckle impressions around the circumfrence of the lower body.
