Commemorative medal. Inscribed on obverse: 'VICTORY AND PEACE 1919 BOROUGH OF ABERAVON S.H. BYASS MAYOR'. Reverse: the seal of the Aberavon Corporation, 'SEEL WLLLAUOE SIPE EE FRISE'. The seal inscripton should read 'SEEL WILLAUME SIRE DE FRISE'. The misspellings appear to be the result of errors by the die engraver.
