Baker, Bevans and Irwin, Glamorgan Pottery (1813-1839)
Plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim; transfer-printed in brown with to the centre of the well a scene showing two small figures seated on a stone bridge over a river with to one side a stone tower and to the other side a stone gateway, in the background buildings, trees and distant hills, a rope-like border to the rim issuing flowers and foliage on a stippled brown ground.
