North Sands type cargo vessel built 1943 by Burrard Dry Dock Co Ltd., North Vancouver (with engine by Dominion Engineering Works, Montreal) for MOWT (managed by Hain Steamship Co), London. 1946 - Ministry of Transport (managed by Lyle Shipping Co), London. 1947 - Returned to U.S. Maritime Commission. She was broken up at Baltimore in 1958.
