Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
This work pays homage to a lost place. Edwards grew up on a council estate in Llanedeyrn, with this work inspired by the nearby Ebbw Vale steelworks where his father worked. The sculpture recalls the societal ruptures brought about by the deindustrialisation and displacement of communities. trailing past collages archival fragments upon its surface to explore family and cultural memories.
